Stenner pumps provide accurate injection for water reclamation for commercial and industrial locations.
Many areas of the country are under governmental regulations to treat their wastewater before discharging it to drain or septic systems. In addition, several areas are under water usage restrictions and often have high water utility costs. Water reclamation is usually a common option for car wash operators looking to save on both water and sewer costs, plus comply with environmental regulations. Wastewater from business and industry is cleaned with biological and chemical treatment for non-potable use such as washing, watering or manufacturing. Water reclamation processes utilize Stenner peristaltic pumps to inject polymers, acids, alkalines, metal reduction solutions and more.
In many systems, oxidizers are injected to break down organic compounds, flocculants are used to form large particles for simple filtration, and acids or alkalines can be introduced for pH adjustment. Stenner's Classic Series single head adjustable pumps are perfectly suited to inject these solutions as they are self-priming up to 25 feet and do not lose prime due to gaseous chemicals. The Classic series single head pump can be purchased as a Tank System consisting of a metering pump and solution tank, shipped pre-assembled for easy installation. The SVP series offers digital control utilizing a four-button keypad and variable speed operation. An optional 4-20mA signal input follower is available for pH control systems.
The S Series offers practical features for applications requiring pump performance monitoring such a tube leak detection, tube change timer or transferring operation to a backup pump. The pump has multiple operational modes and can interface with process control systems.
Installation sites include commercial businesses, manufacturing plants and mills, golf courses, public parks and more.
