Econ Stennicator Series
The Econ Stennicator is an electric peristaltic pump that injects stock solutions directly into the water line of livestock facilities, at a fixed ratio of 1:128, 1 oz per per gallon.
Unlike typical medicators, the Stennicator is not adversely affected by poor water quality, scale and solids which can damage parts of water driven medicators. The solution is contained in the tube and suction/discharge lines and does not contact the moving parts eliminating garden hose bypasses which can restrict flow.
The small footprint makes it adaptable to existing houses The pump is activated by a pulsing dry contact water meter or can use the existing meter. If using a house controller, the built-in repeater relay repeats the water meter signal to the controller during operation. For water flows up to 5.4 gallons per minute, a second Stennicator can be added for a duplex installation. This allows injection at 1:256 so two pumps can be wired in series to accommodate higher flow rates.
The pump is equipped with a safety lockout feature and a standby mode. While in the standby mode the pump is inactive and the relay will continue to register water consumption to the controller while the pump has power. The standby mode also allows tube replacement in the pump head without disconnecting power and/or the lead wires.
In addition, the pump is more than just a medicator, it is compatible with a wide range of livestock or poultry solutions and can inject strong acids and disinfectants without harm to the moving parts. The pump is adjustable from 10% – 100% in 1% increments by a digital keypad with a backlit LCD screen. The pump is suitable for indoor or outdoor installations and is also available in 24VDC. All Stenner peristaltic metering pumps are self-priming and do not lose prime from gaseous solutions.
The Econ Stennicator is available as a pre-assembled Tank System or Meter System.
The Tank System has a 7.5, 15 or 30 gallon capacity and is available in UV gray for outdoor installations or translucent white.
The Meter System is available with one or 2 Stennicator and includes a dry contact 3/4″ or 1″ water meter. All components are mounted on a heavy duty panel.
