There are numerous additives that are application specific that can be injected by a Stenner peristaltic metering pump.
The injection of enzymes into commercial pool and spa water with heavy bather loads will decrease scum line buildup, decrease chlorine usage and will cut down on tile cleaning and extend filter runs. The enzymes help to maintain clean, clear water in commercial swimming pools and spas. The Econ T pump has a 7 day integral timer allowing for 24 separate timed events providing flexibility for the most efficient and effective dosing schedule and dosage amounts to allow enzymes to work best.
Liquid pool covers can be accurately dispensed according to a programmed dosing schedule with the Econ T. The Econ T has cULus for indoor and outdoor use. The 25 psi models are tested and certified to Standard NSF/ANSI 50, equipment for swimming pools, spas, hot tubs and other recreational water facilities.
The pump is also used for dosing enzymes in lift stations for reduction of odor, fats and oils. For faster installations, try the Tank System where the pump is pre-mounted to the tank.
Industrial Process Additives | Process Water Treatment
An industrial process may require chemical additives to be introduced at specific injection rates and Stenner pumps accurately deliver. The chemical additives are usually specific to the particular industrial process in applications that can include mining, textiles and pulp and paper. Stenner peristaltic metering pumps meter solutions for oxidation, bleaching or disinfection to treat process water to produce the quality of water needed for the specific industrial process.
Built to NEMA 4X, the S Series offers efficient interface with process control systems. Operational modes include scalable, invertible 4-20mA or 0-10VDC input, Hall Effect (frequency), PPM Feed, Pulse and Timer functions. Program up to three output relays to respond to conditions such as tube leak or transfer operation to a backup pump. The pump tube's life expectancy is programmable to initiate a tube change indicator on the operating display when the set time is reached.
Stenner pumps offer precise injection of liquid additives such as antibiotics, vaccines, and dietary supplements, directly into the drinking water supply to maintain healthy flocks and herds. The M128, M128 System or the compact Stennicator or Stennicator System inject at a rate of 1:128 and are actuated by water flow from a dry contact water meter signal. The pumps are easily adapted to installations that utilize a water meter to register water consumption.
If using a house controller, both the M128 and the Stennicator can stop the pump but still keep track of water consumption. The Econ OEM Batch pump can be set to dispense precise amounts of vaccines or additives for the general well being of the livestock. The manual activation switch is standard and a customized input signal is optional. For repeatable dosages with varying system flow rates, select the Proportional Injection System. Purchase separately the PCM, plastic or stainless steel water meter and the Classic series single head fixed output pump to customize your own proportional feed installation.
Car Wash Solutions
Stenner peristaltic metering pumps are capable of metering solutions critical to car wash operations. The pumps can accurately inject detergents, waxes, conditioners, drying agents, tire cleaners, rust inhibitors, and related car wash solutions up to 3.5 ounces per minute at pressures up to 100 psi (105 mls/6.9 bar). The Classic Series single head adjustable pump accurately meters hyper-concentrates eliminating the need to dilute the solutions. The self-priming pump is easy to install, operate and maintain. For quicker installations, the Tank System is shipped with the pump pre-mounted to the 7.5, 15 or 30 gallon tank.
Plating Bath Solutions
The metal finishing process can utilize Stenner pumps in two different applications, plating baths and plating bath wastewater. To assure quality plating, solutions such as phosphates, brighteners or alkalines are injected into the plating baths. The Econ OEM pump can be integrated into your controller enclosure for metering brighteners, phosphates and related plating bath solutions. The Econ OEM Batch pump is designed for dosing plating additives in precise amounts based on a pre-set run time. For simple on/off metering application select from the Econ VX, FX, V or F pump series.
Treatment of the plating bath wastewater such as pH adjustment is usually required so the water can be returned to the environment safely. Choose the Classic Series single head adjustable pump for outputs up to 170 gallons per day and adjustability from 5% to 100%. The SVP Series is a variable speed pump with manual control or select the SVP4 that accepts a 4-20mA signal if using with a pH control system.
Irrigation Fertilizers, Algicides
Plant and crop health management is critical to achieve maximum yields and attractive blooms. Stenner offers a variety of pumps and systems to injection various liquid algicides, fertilizers and nutrients into the irrigation water.
Select from Stenner’s product line for reliable injection of various additives for a specific application:
livestock farms, breeders, poultry hatcheries, grow-out facilities
Manufacturing plants, mills, processing facilities
Hotels, Condos, Sports Training Facilities, Apartments
Agricultural and turf farms, nurseries, citrus groves
Car and truck washes, Car rental facilities
Metal processing facilities
The Classic series single head adjustable pump can be wired to a well pump pressure switch so that both pumps operate simultaneously for continuous injection.
- The S Series has multiple operational modes and pump performance indicators to program to suit your specific application.
The Econ FP is ideal for light duty applications. It is a compact flow activated pump and can accept a dry contact signal or a 12-24 VAC/VDC signal from any control equipment that responds to flow.
The Econ OEM batch pump can be customized to run 0.1 seconds to 24 hours per activation by an integral switch or with a an input signal.
The Econ OEM Pump can be customized for a fixed output from ranges of 0.04 ounces to 2.08 gallons per hour with pressures to 80 psi.
The Classic single head and Econ FP pumps are available as a Tank System that is pre-assembled with a pump and tank for fast installations.
The Proportional Injection System mounts to the wall for timely installations and equipment accessibility. The system is activated by a dry contact water meter for repeatable dosages based on water volume regardless of the system’s flow rate.
A proportional feed installation can be tailored to your specific application by purchasing separately the PCM, plastic or stainless steel water meter and the Classic series single head fixed output pump.
The Econ Stennicator is a compact 1:128 medicator utilized for proportional injection in livestock operations. It can be installed with an existing dry contact water meter.
The Econ Integrator™ is a compact water treatment pump that can be easily installed on any farm with a dry contact water meter in place.
