Stenner metering pumps offer a wide range of flow rate outputs for oxidation in water treatment.
Oxidation is necessary to remove unpleasant properties, iron, hydrogen sulfide and manganese, commonly found in ground water in residential and commercial water wells, municipalities, wastewater treatment plants, and manufacturing facilities. Iron stains laundry and plumbing fixtures. It can cause a metallic taste in the water and leave deposits that can clog pipes and reduce flow rates. The presence of hydrogen sulfide emits a “rotten egg” odor and also has corrosive properties. The presence of manganese in the water will cause black staining of laundry and pipes.
Stenner peristaltic metering pumps accurately inject solutions such as sodium hypochlorite, hydrogen peroxide and potassium permanganate to oxidize undesired chemical elements so unwanted properties may be removed from the water by filtration after adequate contact time in a retention tank.
Stenner peristaltic metering pumps are compatible with various activation methods.
Residential and commercial wells
Manufacturing plants, mills, processing facilities
Municipalities, wastewater treatment plants
Water wells in farms, dairies, processing plants, hatcheries, grow-out facilities
The Classic series single head adjustable pump can be wired to a well pump pressure, circulation pump or control panel so that both pumps operate simultaneously for continuous injection.
The Econ FP is a compact flow activated pump and can accept a dry contact signal or a 12-24 VAC/VDC signal from any control equipment that responds to flow.
The Econ Integrator™ is a compact water treatment injection pump and can be easily installed on any farms with a dry contact water meter in place.
The Classic single head and Econ FP pumps are available as Tank Systems that are preassembled with a pump and tank for fast installations
If a pump control circuit is unavailable or impractical, the Proportional Injection Pump System mounts to the wall for timely installations and equipment accessibility. The system is activated by a dry contact water meter for repeatable dosages based on water volume regardless of the system’s flow rate.
A proportional feed installation can be tailored to your specific application by purchasing
separately the PCM, plastic or stainless steel water meter and the Classic series single head fixed output pump.
