Stenner peristaltic metering pumps provide reliable injection for a variety of industrial processes.
The metering pumps are commonly used to treat undesirable conditions from a private water supply to produce the quality of water necessary for a particular industrial process. Solutions such as hydrogen peroxide and sodium hypochlorite are metered for oxidation or disinfection. Additional applications include metering polymers for coagulation for removal of suspended particles from the water, polyphosphates for Corrosion and Scale Control of plumbing and water supply equipment, and acids and alkaline for pH control of the process water.
The industrial process itself may require chemical additives to be introduced at specific injection rates and Stenner pumps accurately deliver. The chemical additives are usually specific to the particular industrial process in applications that can include mining, textiles, pulp and paper, printing, foundries and paints.
Also in industry, water reclamation and water reuse provide savings and conservation and are often necessary to comply with environmental regulations. Wastewater is cleaned with biological and chemical treatment for non-potable use such as washing, watering or manufacturing. Stenner peristaltic pumps can reliably inject solutions to treat wastewater for reclaimed or recycled use.
Installation sites include manufacturing plants, mills and processing facilities.
Select from a variety of Stenner products to fit the specific application:
The S Series is specifically designed to interface with process control systems. For example, inject chemical additives, pH control agents, oxidizers, coagulants, flocculants, etc. at a variable rate as controlled by a 4-20mA signal from a process control or SCADA system. Program up to three output relays in response to pump conditions such as tube leak, motor drive fault, process alarms or transfer to a backup pump.
- Stenner's Classic Series single head adjustable pump can be wired to a well pump pressure switch, circulation pump or control panel so that both pumps operate simultaneously. For convenient and quick installations, the Tank System is shipped pre-assembled with the pump and tank.
A dry contact water meter is used to activate the pump for proportional chemical feed or if a pump control circuit is unavailable or impractical. The Proportional Injection System provides proportional dosing based on the water system's flow. The components are pre-mounted to a heavy-duty panel to reduce installation time.
The SVP series is a variable speed pump with a manual or automatic control to pace the pump. The SVP4 with the 4-20mA input signal follower provides automatic adjustment of injection rates for demanding applications.
